Real-life sisters Kate Mara and Rooney Mara will share the same screen space in Bucking Fastard, by renowned German filmmaker Werner Herzog. The film marks the real-sisters' first on-screen collaboration.
As per Deadline, Herzog will write and direct Bucking Fastard. The upcoming film will be produced by Ariel Leon Isacovitch and Agnes Chu, along with Andrea Bucko and Emanuele Moretti of Cobalt Sky Motion Picture Group, and Clara Wu Tsai. The production is said to start later this year in Ireland and Slovenia.
