He will need to dethrone the reigning Marseille champion Humbert to win his first ATP title, after he beat Zizou Bergs 6-4 6-4 in Saturday's other semi-final.
Humbert produced a largely error-free performance in front of a vocal home crowd, only facing – and saving – one break point throughout the 89-minute clash.
"It is not easy to achieve back-to-back finals. I won last year so it is a different pressure," the Frenchman said. "I am in the final again and super proud."

Humbert's victory maintained his excellent record at indoor events in France. He is now 17-1 in his last 18 indoor matches on home soil, having won this tournament last year before finishing as runner-up at the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris in November.
