The winners of the 30th Critics Choice Awards were announced on February 8 (IST). Payal Kapadia's film, All We Imagine As Light, which was nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category lost to Oscar-nominated film Emilia Perez.
Other films nominated in the category included I'm Still Here, Kneecap, Flow, and The Seed of the Sacred Fig.
Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s starter Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Series lost the award to Netflix's popular series Squid Game.
The other nominees in the category were My Brilliant Friend, La Máquina, The Law According to Lidia Poët, Acapulco, Pachinko, and Senna.
Emilia Pérez,bw777 login Wicked, and The Substance won big with three wins. Anora bagged the best picture award.
The best actress award went to Demi Moore for The Substance, and best actor to Adrien Brody for The Brutalist.
On the television side, Shōgun won four awards, including best drama series and best actor in a drama series (Hiroyuki Sanada). Hacks won three wins- best comedy series, and two female acting prizes in the comedy category
